Description
Up for your consideration is a rare set of (11) Duhme & Co. Aesthetic Japanese influenced Butter Pats or maybe Individual Mint Dishes. Each are in the shape of a stylized hammered flower ( I think Sunflower). The set weighs 293 grams , they are 5/8th inches tall and are 2 5/8ths inches in diameter. Nicely hammered lobed scolloped rims and ribbed centers add to the interest of this set. The rims seem to have butlers finish while the centers are a bit brighter. . I wouldthink
that these would date to the 1880's. They are
monogrammed
in the reverse with S. A. L.. As with Antique items of this age a certain amount of wear due to normal usage should be expected. I do my best to describe any and all defects and blemishes that may be present. All in all a beautiful set that could possible be repurposed as votive holders on your table. A Very unique set!
