Mayer China Platter Restaurant Ware Oval w/ S

Description

This is an extremely nice platter with a green MAYER CHINA stamp on the back.  The platter is a white or cream color with a black and red stripes.  There is a S entwined with a C shape on the front.  I am guessing this is a mark for a hotel restaurant but not exactly sure.  I researched but was unable to fine any other images that matched.  I researched the stamp and believe it to be pre 1950's.  I am not 100% positive on this detail as I found very little information to be found. The platter is in very good condition. It measures approximately 13 1/2 inches by 9 1/2 inches.  I have taken pictures so please ask questions if you have any.  Thank you for looking.
