    ARTIFACT:
    This is a cool circa mid-1950s advertising lighter for “Red” Crow’s Auto Sales of Glendale, California. The lighter is a Ronson copy made by Firefly of Japan with a retractable windshield. The front of the lighter has a great old yellow car applied logo in enamel.
    VINTAGE:
    Circa mid-1950s.
    SIZE:
    Approximately 2-1/8” in height and 1-11/16” in width and 1/2” in thickness.
    CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
    Chrome-plated brass, brass, enamel.
    ATTACHMENT:
    Screw.
    MARKINGS:
    FIREFLY SUPERLIGHTER Y.N.S. JAPAN on bottom; SUPER and FIREFLY at top.
