    Description

    Here is offered a Rare Band Coat from around 1880.
    Coat was purchased from the Chapman family.
    Their great grandfather was Ross Chapman
    played trombone with Sousa’s Band around 1900.
    This was one of his coats.
    Coat tag reads:
    D. Klein & Bro.
    Uniforms
    Philadelphia
    D. Klein made swords during the Civil War.
    Condition is excellent. Lining is also very nice.
    Coat closes with Hook & Eye, not buttons.
    Purchased in the same lot was a Original Sousa Band Hat.(Not for
